MPAC’s response to Meta’s New Content Moderation Policies


MPAC has signed onto a letter from the Center for Democracy & Technology and other civil rights groups urging Meta —the parent company of Facebook and Instagram—to reverse harmful policy changes surrounding fact-checking and content moderation.

By allowing harmful content and cutting fact-checking, Meta is putting marginalized communities at risk. It’s time to prioritize safety, equity, and real free expression.
