MPAC Stands with Ms. Rachel Against Unfounded Smear Campaign

Washington, D.C. | www.mpac.org | April 8, 2025 — The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) strongly condemns the smear campaign launched by StopAntisemitism against Rachel Griffin Accurso, known affectionately to millions as Ms. Rachel. Ms. Rachel has courageously used her global platform to highlight the dire humanitarian crisis affecting Palestinian children, emphasizing compassion, humanitarian aid, and basic human dignity.

StopAntisemitism, a right-wing extremist organization with a documented history of conflating legitimate criticism of Israeli policy with antisemitism, is unjustly targeting Ms. Rachel for expressing humane and deeply necessary concern for the suffering in Gaza. The accusations leveled against Ms. Rachel—labeling her compassionate calls for humanitarian relief as “Hamas propaganda”—are not only unfounded but are dangerously misleading and designed to silence humanitarian advocacy.

MPAC stands firmly with Ms. Rachel and applauds her unwavering commitment to human rights, compassion, and justice. Her efforts to raise awareness about the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Gaza, particularly the tragic suffering and loss of over 15,000 Palestinian children, demonstrate true moral leadership and bravery.

We categorically reject the malicious and baseless accusations from StopAntisemitism and call on civil society, human rights advocates, and the broader international community to support those, like Ms. Rachel, who dare to speak truth to power.

Now more than ever, voices advocating for humanity, compassion, and truth must be amplified, not suppressed. We extend our heartfelt solidarity and appreciation to Ms. Rachel for her courageous stance.
