In the immediate aftermath of the 2020 election, exit poll surveys offered some surprising revelations: Between 18 – 35 percent of Muslims in America cast a vote for President Trump. CAIR-National and AP VoteCast both released exit poll surveys that included these figures.
In this webinar, we speak to two experts in their respective fields who can help us to understand these poll results: Robert McCaw, the Government Affairs Director at CAIR-National, and Youssef Chouhoud, an Assistant Professor in Political Science at Christopher Newport University.
Our guests will delve into these poll findings and offer thoughts on what they might reveal about American politics and the role of American Muslims in broader processes of party realignment.
